NEW ORLEANS then CALIFORNIA

 We stayed at the Astor Crowne Plaza - good choice. It was right on Canal Street so we could walk heaps of places like restaurants and diners. Bus travel was no problem also.

 Went on a swamp tour but didn't expect we'd be handling the little varmints. This alligator was as big as I want to hold thanks.

 Jack was all over it and even held the little (live) gator. Another Steve Irwin?

Here's Team Keast checking out local spots.

 Jack P took Fay and I to a ballgame. He was the main attraction. All the team 65 and over! Jack just made the cut. Here he is putting one into the next county.

 Went for a drive to Newport and checked out their version of "Cronulla". Pretty cool.

 Of course we hit the theme park(s). Eddie and jack enjoyed their rides.

Jeremy was right into the ride scene too.... though mostly opted for the more scarey ones.
From Los Angeles/ Orange County, Fay and I headed off on a car rally (next posting!) Sequoia National park, Yosemite and finally San Francisco.
