Self Control

I think I need a good dose of self control or something to help me focus on my cycling. I find it too easy to just say to myself, "Oh, you don't have to ride today, Gra." Maybe some of us operate best when we have a buddy to help us achieve tasks. I know for me, what works really well is when I tell a SIGNIFICANT OTHER what I plan to do. I then feel I MUST do it. Are you like that or can you just do things without such a helper?

Being a one car family is a big help for me. It means that I can't roll out of bed late and say, "I'll drive to work today".

I love my cycling but I still need something to help me stay focussed.

Gee Gra, sounds like you dropped out of school just to be confronted by another raft of very tough decisions.
I find that I work best when some bureaucrat from our education department rings out of the blue to say that he can't seem to find a copy of that annual report for 2004, and could I please email a copy to him.
You will be pleased to know that accelerates the process.
Perhaps you could appoint Fay to a similar role?
Our computer at home has gone to sleep somehow, so we don't have a record of your ETA in God's Little Acre, or have we missed that info on this site somewhere.
Farewelled 2 Belgians yesterday, negotiating with 8 Italians for last week in September.
When you are not riding check out as our daughter Leeanne is now the world bodypainting champion.
