THE RIVERINA IN JUNE

Long weekend in June; load up Matilda the avan and head to the Riverina.
Boorowa (near Yass) is a lovely small town with some beautiful architecture.
We got mixed up with a couple of cardsharps in Cowra and damn near lost everything.
Irene, my partner, seems to be out of cards - that was just typical! Reidy had the upperhand.
Beaut to catch up with some cousins in Wagga. Thanks guys for looking after us.
If you're hungry or thirsty as you pass through Jerilderie, call in to the Jerilderie Bakery.
Definitely worth a visit. Coffee's good and hot and the tucker's tops. Fair dinkum!
I even did a bit of farmwork... good to get a bit of dirt on your R M Williams, even if they are actually your Canadian brother's boots!
The annual Number Plate Collectors' Club had a meeting in Deniliquin. This is the souvenir plate.
These two plates were bought / traded because I have grandkids Connor and Jack.
...and I needed a decent plate from North Dakota to replace the crummy one I now have.
dddd
Temps were a bit on the cool side but sunny days always help. IX35 (2 Litre diesel) went well towing the Cruiseliner! Lucky I had a co-driver though. A beaut trip to a lovely part of Australia - Cowra, Junee, Wagga, Jerilderie, Deni, and Temora.
