ANNE KEYS

What a privilege to have known Anne Keys.
Our teaching careers commenced on the same day - Tuesday 2nd February 1965 at Heckenberg Public School just outside Liverpool.
While it is sad on my part that I've lost someone precious, it's a blessing for Anne that her battle with cancer is over and that she has gone to be with the Father whom she loved. No more sickness; no more pain.
She leaves behind a loving and caring husband Alan, and three kids - Jono and wife Emma, Tim and wife Melissa and Deb. The grandkid scene - Jesher, Eli, Emily, James and Jack. Neat kids.
I remember those early teaching days. Anne and I became good mates. We went out together, played some tennis together (she was a good tennis player), went to some shows and some dances and some balls. Her sister Joy and her parents were very good to me also. Yes, I have fond memories of 1965. Anne will be sadly missed by many folk. Anne passed away about 5 am this morning, Thursday 1 November 2007. Aged 60+.
O what a wonderful God we have! How great are His wisdom and knowledge and riches! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His methods! For who among us can know the mind of the Lord? Who knows enough to be His counsellor and guide? ...
For everthing comes from God alone. Everything lives by His power, and everything is for His glory.
To Him be glory evermore.
Romans 11:33-36
PS It was a beautiful service. Anne had witten her own eulogy which was just full of praise and thankfulness. It was a privilege to meet her 3 kids for the first time. It was also great to have Graham & Marg Brown (fresh from their overseas trip) look after us - they are friends from way back also.

I'm very sorry for your loss but comforted to know that you are a person of faith in Christ. Thanks for stopping by my place after such an arduous day physically and emotionally. I hope you'll come back. Love your pictures on your site; you already know this, but your family is beautiful!
