SOUTH COAST OF NSW

We have just spent a relaxing few days at beautiful Lakes Entrance, Victoria. Heaps of boats. Guess the folk from Melbourne find this an easy holiday destination.
We stayed at The Esplanade Resort and Spa in Lakes Entrance. Very comfortable.
Some of our party stayed at Bellevue on the Lakes - another lovely place to stay. A little more central than the Esplanade. And they had breakfast!
Loved some of the older style wooden boats. There were even some for sale.

We were delighted when we found a free ferry which took us across to Raymond Island.
Oaklands in Pambula (in NSW) provided the ideal morning tea spot. The tucker and the service were both excellent.
You can't do much better than Bodalla Dairy Shed for lunch. Quite a pleasing variety and extremely well presented. Make sure you taste and buy some of their cheese on offer.

The South Coast has heaps of lovely towns with amazing scenery. If you're going, give me a yell - we might come with you!

Wonder where our next trip will take us? Maybe Shellharbour, north of us on the beautiful South Coast. There might be a bike ride there in October!
