ADELAIDE TO HOME

Only saw 6 emus and 2 roos as we drove through the Hay plains today. Just love this country. Clouds were amazing today.
Hyundai ix35 was brilliant! Went as fast as was needed, overtook when required, very comfortable, very roomy and fairly economical... 6.8 - 7.3 L/100 km. (That's if you drive as fast as my wife drives!!) Sunset below was really beautiful. The drive was Port Elliot, SA to Hay, NSW - about 662.9 km.
Had a Servas meeting to discuss how good the vanilla slices were in Port Elliot. They were voted a success.
She drove particularly well, even with a bad left knee.
fff
Tomorrow we'll do 702 km and it'll take us about 8 hours. That'll get us home.
If you wanna have a good holiday go to Port Elliot and stay at Helen's beautiful roomy home in Charteris Street.  I can guarantee you'll have a great time.
