HAPPY NEW YEAR

Just park it somewhere down near the boat, mate!

Hardly any parking spaces left anywhere. Place has been swamped with tourists this Christmas. You wanna park your car somewhere where you'll be able to find it again. You don't want some local yokel running off with it over the festive season.
Off to the party now!

FESTIVE SEASON 2009

Bren and Logan enjoying the swimming short-course. Before this Logan felt he'd rather go back home to play with his Lego. But now, he figures that holidays aren't that bad after all. Bren looks happy enough.

The oldest member of the Jack Keast family (Bill), with th youngest (Owen).

More family shots coming shortly.

THANKS BRYAN & MARCIA

The male King Parrot was an easy target for Bryan's camera. This bloke comes in with his mates most days.

One of our many white roses. Think they may be Icebergs? Does anyone know?

I liked this shot of Bryan's. Taken from horseback would you believe.

They don't call it Swan Lake for nothing. (5 minutes walk away.)

Up close and personal. Bryan got some great shots from our garden.

More pretty colours in our garden.

This mum and youngster were relaxing here at Cudmirrah.

Bryan and Marcia (from Iowa, USA) check out Fitzroy Falls.

Marcia and Fay relax at Mortdale in Sydney.

Bryan and I with work to do. They lived at Bowral in 1974-76. First trip back since then.

SORRY SON!

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT PHOTO.... in the scheme of things.

I heard a big politician recently apologise. I would like to add my own apology.

I'm sorry Jeremy and Julia that I haven't already congratulated you both on the announcement of your engagement. Fay and I are thrilled at your news and would like to wish you every happiness as you go through life together. There will most certainly be some tough times. Everybody experiences the tricky times. I believe you have quite a bit going for you. I pray that your love for each other will only grow and mature. And I hope that together you will bring much happiness to many people.
Please accept my late notice here on the blog.

LOCALS WELCOME FOREIGNERS

Dale (in middle) chatting with her daughter Deryn and Brian who have just flown in from England and Bryan and Marcia (left) who arrived from Iowa via San Francisco earlier that day... Thursday.

This bloke couldn't wait to get into the action and say gday!

Of course there's always gotta be the workers in cases like this. Here is the cleanup brigade! (Beth and Fay).

...and where would we be without the local "executive"? Planning is serious business and these guys - Barry, Bill and Gra, are up to it. Bill's been out here now for over a month. Actually I believe this could be an interview for a visa extension!! Yeah... you can tell by the body language.

Bandicoots are generally shy critters but when these little blokes heard who was here and what was goin' down they came out to check it all out. What bandicoot doesn't like a good barbie? I ask you!

Photos of roo experience still to come.... they're in another camera.
