HYUNDAI IX35

A lovely motor car... and it fits in the garage!

 Looks pretty smart I reckon.

...and it has my favourite number plate!

...in Keast white! (Why pay more for any other colour?)
 A happy face.

Easy to learn the layout and the dials and info.

We couldn't afford to get the model with the sat nav, but haven't got lost yet!

Would you believe the rear seats are heated too!!

Smart looking 2 Litre turbo diesel. Quite economical.

We've tested out the rear compartment and can fit large "esky" and 2 bikes! Plus other stuff.

Yep... it can even tow our avan quite comfortably.
We look forward to many many road trips in this IX35.
Thanks Steve, and Country Motor Co. Bomaderry, Sth Coast.

WHITE WATER RAFTING NZ

On the Tongariro River near Turangi on the North Island - that's where the action is!

With our intrepid travellers/friends/co-rafters, we set off for a couple of hours on the water. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

...little did we know what we were in for.

Carry the raft - big one too - into the water and then get some instruction.

Pretty quiet really - at this stage anyway. Beautiful scenery.

Janice got a bit excited because she could see some white water.

Have no fear team, our trusty guide told us. There are 64 rapids altogether.

The adrenaline was pumpin' big time!

I think Janice got her moneysworth. Tongariro River Rafting  excellent mob to raft with.

Thanks Ryan and the team. I just don't know how somebody didn't fall out because we certainly came pretty close on a number of occasions. Does it look like we had fun?
